Forum 2000 - Informix Evening Party at Union Station featuring The Capitol Steps

Friday, March 10, 2000 at 7:00pm

Guests who attend Friday's party, sponsored by Informix Software, will enjoy the historic landmark, Union Station, for their dining pleasure followed by a performance by the Capitol Steps, a political comedy group.

Designated an historic landmark of great importance, Union Station is a monument to the great railway age. Guests will have exclusive use of the original dining room for travelers, the East Hall, renowned for its flat skylights on the north and south alcoves.

For the evenings entertainment guests will be treated to a performance by the Capitol Steps. The Capitol Steps operate under the premise that if actors can be politicians, politicians can be actors. They have been entertaining audiences since 1981 with their political satire set to music. The group of Senate Staffers performs regularly in Washington and have been broadcasted by major television and radio stations.
